The Institution of Engineers (India), Tiruvallur Local Centre (IEI TVLC), organized the Energy Conservation Day Celebration on 23rd December 2025 at SV Seminar Hall, R.M.K. Engineering College. The programme was attended by 120 participants, including faculty members, students, IEI coordinators, and professional engineers, with the objective of promoting awareness on energy conservation and sustainable practices.

The event featured an expert lecture by Mr. Varadharajan Venkatesh, Manager – Data and Insights, Energy Exemplar, Bangalore, who highlighted the role of data analytics, digital tools, and benchmarking in enhancing energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprint. The session provided practical insights into energy management and encouraged participants to integrate energy-efficient principles into engineering practice.

Overall, the programme strengthened awareness on sustainable development and reaffirmed IEI TVLC’s commitment to promoting energy conservation and responsible energy usage.
