The IEI Tiruvallur Local Centre successfully conducted a One Day Hands-On Workshop on Large Language Models (LLMs) on 29th March 2025 at MGR University, CAR Lab. The workshop offered participants practical exposure to Generative AI and the development of AI-powered agents.

Attendees explored the fundamentals of LLMs, their architecture, and real-world applications. The sessions included live demonstrations, interactive coding exercises, and expert-led guidance, providing hands-on experience with modern AI tools and frameworks.

Mr. Vinod Kumara M, Senior Lead Software Engineer at Virtusa Consulting Services, served as the key speaker. With his extensive experience in Generative AI, he guided participants through real-time AI agent building and deployment.

The workshop attracted a diverse audience, including engineering and computer science students, faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals. It proved to be a valuable opportunity for all participants to strengthen their knowledge in one of today’s most dynamic areas of technology.
