The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) is one of the oldest and largest professional bodies of engineers in India, established in 1920. It serves as a significant platform for the engineering community in India, promoting and advancing the science, practice, and business of engineering.
The Tiruvallur Local Centre, established on 30th October 1994 and then Hon'ble Minister of State for Science & Technology, Government of India, is a dynamic and active chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI]. With a membership comprising 2050 corporate members, 5000 student members, and 15 institutional members, IEI-TVLC is dedicated to advancing the objectives and ethics of IEI.
