The IEI Tiruvallur Local Centre organized its 45th Technical Lecture on “Evolution & Importance of EV in Current Automotive Industry, in Collaboration with AI & IT” on 26th June 2025 at Dr. MGR University. The keynote speaker, Mr. Karthik. K, Regional Training Manager at TATA Motors Pvt. Ltd., delivered an insightful talk on the role of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in sustainable mobility and how AI and IT are transforming the EV ecosystem.

The 90-minute session, attended by 80 participants, including students, faculty, and industry enthusiasts, explored topics such as EV design, smart diagnostics, autonomous driving, and real-world innovations. The event emphasized the importance of green technologies and encouraged participants to pursue opportunities in EV and AI-driven transportation systems.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the speaker and participants for making the lecture a meaningful step toward promoting sustainable and intelligent mobility.
